Pour traduire le mot allemand Parkplatzliste en Français, lequel est mieux entre liste de stationnement et liste parking ?

@Alenanno: It's the title of a report I need to translate. Parkplatzliste is as said German, and I thought it should be obvious for an English speaker that this means "Parking list" in English, especially with parking mentioned in one of the French possibilities. – Quandary Jan 25 '12 at 10:18

Parking n'est pas un mot français, il est utilisé par certains francophones en tant qu'anglicisme pour désigner un stationnement, à même titre que week-end pour "fin de semaine".

Je dirais donc personnellement que liste de stationnement est mieux

Parking est un mot français, puisqu'il s'emploie couramment en français, est présent dans le TLF et même dans le dictionnaire de l'Académie. Je pense aussi que la plupart des francophones (au moins en France) comprennent mieux et emploient davantage parking que stationnement. C'est encore plus vrai pour week-end et fin de semaine (à part peut-être au Québec). – Evpok♦ Jan 24 '12 at 16:44

C'est vrai que parking est bien maintenant un mot français, mais je crois que cette réponse démontre bien comment il ne faut pas utiliser "parking" au Québec, parce qu'on le considère effectivement comme une forme d'anglicisme! In my experience, parking was used in France, whereas stationnement was used more often in Quebec, in Ontario I've seen both.

In France, "parking" most commonly refers to the location: "a parking lot" is called "un parking", and "a parking spot" is called "une place de parking". Extremely rarely have I heard "un emplacement de stationnement" for "a parking spot".

You would use "stationnement" for anything that refers to the act of parking your car, or to the state of your car being parked: "stationnement gênant" or "stationnement interdit", for instance, or "ma voiture est stationnée dans un parking privé".

With that being said, in your case I would go with "Liste de Stationnement".

I read the previous answer in English and automatically answered in English. In French:

En France, "parking" se réfère le plus couramment à un emplacement: "a parking lot" se traduit en "un parking", alors que "a parking spot" est "une place de parking". J'ai très rarement entendu "un emplacement de stationnement" pour "a parking spot".

Le mot "stationnement" s'emploie plutôt pour décrire l'acte de garer une voiture, ou l'état dans lequel se trouve une voiture garée. Voir: "stationnement gênant" ou "stationnement interdit", par exemple, ou encore, "ma voiture est stationnée dans un parking privé."

Dans votre cas je choisirais donc plutôt "Liste de Stationnement".
