What does “Shershe la fam” exactly mean?
Can anyone explain the meaning of "Shershe la fam" phrase. I know this phrase written incorrectly, but it sounds very closely to this one.

The translation of this appears to be:
To know a friend is to respect him
That's completely different from the meaning of the French words.
