Après avoir longuement fréquenté Paris et sa province, je m'habitue peu à peu aux joies et aux peines du français québécois. N'y voyez pas la raison d'avis parfois divergeants.

Source d'interrogations (14) occasionellement (16) étranges (8), certaines putain de questions me tiennent à cœur, quand d'autres me donnent faim. Ressouvenons-nous en !

J'aime bien certaines références.¹

comment What is an equivalent idiom in French for the English expression “not over until the fat lady sings”?
Oh, thanks @lmsteffan :) – so yes indeed Gilles, until the fat lady sings, anything could happen, and I'd even emphasize : especially something more dramatic than what happened till now. (Whereas “don't count …” is more of a ‘wait for it’ situation – it being predictable.)

In some cases at least, yes. If I knew more, I'd post an answer :p

La ville dont je vient, oui ; si on ne pense pas à utiliser d'où, c'est correct.

comment How to say “after yesterday” in French?
Look, I know, to me too. But nevertheless, that'll be understood, and probably what I'll say most naturally. And as mentionned Stéphane in chat, après hier soir is overly common.

comment Verb classes in French motion verbs
What do you need them for? What details are you searching for? (What did you try?) / I'm not exactly sure how this question relates to French Language, if you're just searching for a list of verbs. Maybe a better fit at Linguistics.Stack Exchange.

comment “ma jolie femme” vs “ma femme jolie”
For as much as I agree with the third paragraph, I'm afraid I do not fully appreciate the joke (at all, in fact). — Regarding the first two, these issues are adressed in many places around here.
