Books for intermediate French-learners, similar to “le Petit Prince” It may be a bit more difficult than Le petit prince, but I read L'Etranger (A. Camus) when I was younger, and found it really easy to read and quite interesting. |

How to translate “so to speak”? Depending on the level of language you have to use Pour ainsi dire is a bit more formal, and Facon de parler more familiar. I would avoid using the later in an official context. |

How to use “s' ”? Note that on is also used as an undeterminate pronoun, as in On chante dans les stades. There it is not used as first person plural. |
