comment What is the feminine of doctor (médecin)?
I'd question the "thanks to the academy". I doubt the Academy has much influence on practical usage.

@ring0, usage of Québec is also interesting. The real question is "does the office has any influence on the way French is used in Québec outside the administration?"

comment How do you say “attend” in French?
@Tomas, "assister à qqch" means attend something or be present when something occurs, "assister qqun" mean help or support someone.

comment Prevalence of “scénarii” vs “scénarios”
@Kareen, the question isn't the formation of plural in french terminated by -o or -us but the plural of foreign words and the answer is the same: the more the word is felt as part of french, the more the use of the foreign way of pluralizing is felt as pedantic.

comment In French must we always repeat the subject pronoun?
I'm far from sure that the imparfait wasn't the correct translation: like I would go, it gives me the impression of an habit, while the passé simple or the passé composé would be better for a specific time. And like I would go, the sentence would feel more complete if it started with Every Saturday or Tous les samedi.
