Comment traduire « worldly » ? Bonne remarque @Un francophone. Dans le contexte présent cependant, est-ce que ça ferait une grosse différence? |

When would one use “à” before a verb? I actually reckon that the answer you gave cleared up the meaning of the question, so I will remove my downvote (if I can that is...) and consider that I was simply confused about the question. |

When would one use “à” before a verb? I can understand. Prepositions are often complex to translate to other languages because we tend to use the same prepositions for various things in a given language, but not in another one. |

When would one use “à” before a verb? I did. Maybe I just misunderstood the question, but I found it very confusing, and mixing the different meanings of "to" in English in such a way that I don't really see the point of the question... |

Quelle typographie adopter concernant les ponctuations et parenthèses J'utilise les parenthèses pour les références (par exemple les références bibliques) ou les remarques courtes, mais en général, je leur préfère les incises ou les notes de bas de page. |

Comment traduire « a cute animal » ? @Pierre: ce n'est pas tant l'adjectif qui me gêne, mais l'expression. « un animal mignon » ou « un mignon animal », ça sonne un peu surfait... |

Quand peut-on mettre un adjectif avant ou après un nom ? — When do adjectives go before or after a noun? C'est souvent bonnet blanc et blanc bonnet... ;-) |
