I agree it sounds heavy, but I think it is still valid: "Je ne m'intéresse qu'à la langue. Tu sais cela." It's a bit hard to tell as usage in spoken language tends to be flexible ("Tu sais quoi ?").

@JackM: I was told "ne" was the original negation token, and "pas" was only added later. So it's funny to see "ne" disappearing from spoken language now when "pas" used to be the optional token.
