Is it ever appropriate to hyphenate a verb phrase in French which is used like a single word? I've never seen phonecall written out as one word. Is that a thing I don't know about?? |

How do you tackle 'adjective overload' when translating to French? Do you mean "paraphrase"? Although "periphrase" ties in nicely with your "work-arounds". |

What is the feminine for “amour”? Even if "amour" became feminine when you used it as a pet name for a woman, it would still be "mon amour" because of the liaison. So, effectively, there would never be a difference. |
