L'anglicisme « efficient » a-t-il un sens que ne couvre pas « efficace »? Exactement. En anglais un moteur peut-être effective, puisqu'il permet de faire avancer la voiture, sans pour autant être efficient, s'il faut mettre 20 litres d'essence pour faire 100km! |

Comment traduire « bank holiday weekend » ? Et le 'pont' est ce qui est intéressant dans cette question, car tout comme il n'y a pas de mot pour 'bank holiday week-end' en français, il n'y a pas de mot pour 'pont' en anglais, car ça n'existe pas :) Ici en Suisse, j'entends aussi dire 'long week-end', ça marche aussi en France? |
