May 4, 2016 at 8:04 | comment | added | Anne Aunyme | "patrie" definitely refers to the father, it's from the latin "pater", which means... "father". "Foyer" means literaly "a place where there is a fire", so if that doesn't describe the warmth of a house, I don't know what does it. | |
