This makes some kind of sense, because there are lots of times times when you would use the simple past in English and the plus-que-parfait in French, but I can't think of any where it would be the other way around. | |

Otherwise use dictionaries etc. For instance notice that when searching for a word in Wiktionary, you will notice on the bottom left-hand side a list of other languages which should provide an equivalent to what you were searching, in English for instance.
